DO NOT MOVE YOUR VEHICLE If it is absolutely necessary to move your car, mark where it was at the time of the accident. CHECK FOR INJURIES Render aid. Avoid moving an injured person. Call for an ambulance. GATHER THE FACTS Oklahoma law requires you to exchange information with the other parties. Check to see if there were any witnesses. CALL THE POLICE Due to the confusion of an accident you may mistakenly think you are at fault. NEVER acknowledge that. "FAULT" is a legal question to be determined at a later date. CONSULT WITH YOUR ATTORNEY AND REPORT THE ACCIDENT TO YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY. DON'T MAKE UNNECESSARY STATEMENTS!! At the time of the accident you may say something that could be misinterpreted.
